Wonderful Experience at Family Farm since Reservation

We still haven’t been back to Hong Kong,but we can’t help sharing our wonderful experience to all of you now.

Right from the start, I had been very impressed by the famous traits of Japanese-sense of responsibility and meticulousness.

Saeko San, Farm Assistant, contacted me in not more than two days after reservation by email. She made every effort to make sure we would not miss the pick up time and place.

Even though it heavily snowed on7th Feb 2013, our hearts were warmed by Farm’s friendliness.

Initially, I thought it was a formal workshop for making Japanese cuisine. In the end, we made many friends during the workshop with skills and techniques learnt with the help of Sato San. (The owner of the farm)

Out of our expectation, we had a long chat with Sato san’s friendly Chinese neighbour as well. We enjoyed the traditional Japanese food together during lunch time and visited their house up on the hill after the workshop.(I cannot but tell you all that the ingredients used for making the Japanese cuisine were good in quality that I could taste the authentic and good Japanese cuisine there. Other than the food we made, we could also had a Hugh lunch with various vegetables, tofu, tenpura,seasoning and the like grown, as well as handmade by Sato San. To be honest, we didn’t expect to gain that much during the visit. You know! The advertisement shown didn’t mention about the Hugh lunch and friendly neighbour. What a surprise!)

For sure, I learnt a lot during the workshop. For those who don’t have any cooking experience,like my hubby. Don’t be scared! You know! My hubby also know how to manage the technique and skill with the help of Sato San.

Immediately after the workshop,I couldn’t help asking for recipe. I want to make authentic Japanese soba by myself after tasting the authentic soba made during the workshop.

Last but not the least, I should thank Family Farm for providing us an unforgettable memory! Thank Satonsan for driving us up to the hill and asking the others(a passer-by) to take good care of us on the way back to Sapporo! You know, the passer-by did make every effort!!!

We were touched by warmth given by all of you!!! We are planning a summer trip to Hokkaido again in the near future. We hope to meet all friendly Japanese again soon!!
